Need Financial Aid? Click here.

Our financial aid philosophy is take what you need and give what you can. We recognize that there are economic hardships, and we want to be accessible to all, so we ask that you pay whatever it is that you can.

The more you can pay, the more children we are able to extend aid to. Before you request financial aid we ask families to consider if there are family members or friends who might help provide a scholarship to your family for this program.

While nobody has ever been turned away for lack of funds, our ability to accommodate financial aid requests rests on the strength of our program enrollment and the generosity of the individuals, businesses and foundations that partner with Wild Earth to make financial aid possible.

We're in this together! Many of us are stretching ourselves to make sure that cost doesn't get in the way of anyone playing, exploring and learning in nature.

How to ask for aid–

Requests for financial aid are processed alongside your registration. This enables you to reserve a space in the program while our team is reviewing aid requests. Register now and reserve your space in DIY Herbal Cold & Flu Remedies today.

DIY Herbal Cold & Flu Remedies

Embrace the magic of the medicinal plants to support you through the change of season.

This workshop will teach you to strengthen your immune system with tried and true methods that can be made in your own kitchen.

Herbalist Ashley Sapir Lathrop will discuss nutrition, herbal support and how you can prepare herbal remedies in your home.

There will be a large focus on preventative health as well as the best remedies for common winter conditions, such as sore throats, congestion, respiratory infections, fever and all cold and flu related discomfort.

This is a hands-on workshop where participants will be guided to craft their own infusions, decoctions and syrups. Everyone will leave with their own elderberry syrup, an amazing ally for people of all ages.

Lunch will be included and served family style. Ashley will share her favorite savory winter soup, an immune boosting and nutritious meal for sustaining vibrant health throughout the cold season.

Please contact Ashley with any food allergies or sensitivities.

Come enjoy an Autumn morning with us in the kitchen as we share in each others company, the teachings of the plants and the delicious smell of herbs in the air!
