Kingston Middle School “Back To School, Back To Nature” Field Trip

Wild Earth is excited to welcome Kingston Middle School students into the woods as they return to the new school year.

Fall trips to Scenic Hudson’s Juniper Flats preserve (375 acres of wilderness) and the Soujourner Truth Ulster Landing Park are offered to all of the Kingston 5th and 6th grade students and a select group of 7th graders (close to 1,150 students in all).

Each 5 hours field trip is led by nine Wild Earth instructors, many of whom students will know (or get to know) at our guided recess programming during the school year.

During the field trip, students participate in a range of small group activities designed to promote deep immersion into the outdoors with a focus on team-building and developing school unity.
