Spring Series 2026

As the days lengthen and the forest begins to bloom, Wild Earth’s Spring Series invites children aged 5–11 to step back into the wonder of the natural world. Over three Sundays in late spring, kids will explore, play, craft, and connect with nature and each other, in safe, nurturing small groups led by our experienced mentors.

Whether your child is brand-new to Wild Earth or a returning participant eager to reconnect after the winter months, this program offers a joyful way to reawaken curiosity and celebrate the changing season. The Spring Series provides a gentle, smaller-scale introduction to our summer camp experience, perfect for children who love being outside or those ready to dip their toes into nature-based adventure for the first time.

We’ll gather around cozy fires, follow forest paths budding with new life, create with natural materials, and share laughter, stories, and songs under open skies. This series is a beautiful way for families to help their children feel grounded, confident, and connected—emerging from winter just as the earth does: with energy, warmth, and wonder.

A Day in the Spring Series

  • Arrival & Morning Welcome – Begin the day with connection and a gear check to ensure each child is warm, ready, and comfortable.
  • Opening Circle – Join together in gratitude, song, and story to root ourselves in the land and in each other’s company.
  • Small Group Adventures – Kids join their age groups for playful exploration, nature games, and hands-on crafts by the fire.
  • Lunch & Story Sharing – Gather around the central fire to share food, stories, and highlights from the morning.
  • Afternoon Choices – Children choose from a variety of activities that may include forest games, crafting, cooking with fire, or tracking.
  • Closing Circle & Pickup – Reunite as a group to celebrate the day’s adventures and sing our closing song.
